A reminder that you can tell us of your child’s absence from school using this School App. It’s easy and saves your details for next time.Wed Mar 08 12:15pm
Seesaw is a platform that our kaiako (teachers) and tauira (students) use for learning. National lockdowns forced schools to think differently about how the learning was provided to students. The inspiring engagement and enthusiasm that our students found when using Seesaw have seen us continue to use this online platform. Teachers use Seesaw to provide follow up activities to classroom learning. Students use creative tools to take pictures, draw, record videos and more to capture learning in a portfolio. The Seesaw platform is used for homework activities as well as in classwork.
Parents are also notified by the class teacher about classroom and school activities and events via the Seesaw platform. You will also find important notices posted there. Parents can also message their child’s teacher.
Families only have access to their child’s journal. This means you will see student work tagged with your child’s name and posts the teacher tags with ‘Everyone’. Families will also be able to see any comment made by another user on their child’s journal posts.
